    Korean folk belief says a 귀신[gwisin](ghost) stays in this world because of 한[han](deep grief that was never resolved). A ghost like that wants to be heard, so it seeks out anyone who can see or hear it. People with that gift rarely get a quiet life, and Yeo‑ri has lived that way for years. This awkward moment is funny, but in her world it could mean more company from the dead.
